This is the information about what is included in the Grand Cayman Kids Sea Camp week Package. Please understand that all itineraries and schedules as well as activities and other inclusions are subject to cancelation and change at any time. We will create a fun, safe week full of diving and activities for the whole family. Due to any number of reasons some parts of the program may be changed, cancelled or new activities added. Please contact Kids Sea Camp directly for up-to date information.

All guests arrive on Saturday. There is an orientation and dinner on Saturday night. All diving and activities start on Sunday morning at 8am. Parents and kids eat breakfast together and parents go diving, painting, snorkeling and kids begin their programs for the day. Thursday is the last day of classes and we have a big graduation. Friday is family day! We all dive together or snorkel etc. Afternoon is free for excursions to Rum Point or just relax at the resort. Saturday is the departure day. We don't say good bye- we say "See you next year!"

Adult Divers: All inclusions and activites are subject to change:

Underwater Photography clinics with SeaLife representative. Test dive a digital camera all week! Capture the beauty of the underwater world with a free SeaLife camera demo. During the entire week of KSC, a SeaLife representative will be providing free demos for you to use on your dives. Along with the demos, photo clinics will be run to review your photos and teach basic photo shooting and editing techniques. At the end of the week, all SeaLife demo participants will receive a free 2G flash drive with all their photos as well as the best shots of the week.

OPTION: Advanced Open Water Course (afternoons)- $350.00
Diving the afternoons with an instructor, you can complete your AOW course during KSC by completing your Navigation, Deep, Photography, Scooter/DPV and Marine life identification dives.

Adult learn to dive options:

OPTION 1:Adult Open Water Certification + 3 days on the boat + night dive

Complete the entire open water course Sunday through Tuesday and dive like your kids do, plus 3 days of boat trips and shore diving and a night dive! Includes all equipment, books and registration fees

OPTION 2: Adult Open Water Referral = 4 days on the boat + night dive

Complete your class and pool at home and do your ocean check out dives Sunday and Monday afternoon, 4 days of boat trips, night dive and shore diving! Includes all equipment, books and registration fees

There is plenty of fun to be had for kids in the 'Turtle Program' while parents are out diving in the morning for 6 days. The kids will go on a treasure hunt and find great prizes and explore the beach to find the fastest hermit crab on Grand Cayman. They will practice their snorkeling in the pool and venture to the ocean to discover the pristine and beautiful Sea Fan Reef (house reef at Cobalt Coast Dive Resort) and Lighthouse Point, filled with marine life corals, sponges and lots of fish.

Seal Team (ages 8 & up):
7:30am until 3:00pm each day

The 6 days of Kids Sea Camp Seal Team includes excursions that start in the pool and end up in the ocean accomplishing Aqua Missions! Aqua Missions 1-5 teaches kids the basics of diving- things like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, etc. The 6th day is a Stingray City trip! The kdis will complete underwater adventure missions where they learn scuba activities and will move onto completing missions for Buoyancy, Photography, Reef Fish and Coral Awareness Creatures, Navigation, Scooters, Stingrays and more. They will see octopus, lobsters, puffer fish, corals galore sponges of multiple colors, hundreds of species of reef fish, barracuda, stingrays, turtles just to name a few of our friends.  Snorkel Kitti wake wreck.

Jr. Open Water Diver (age 10 & up):
7:30am until 5:00pm Sunday through Thursday
7:30am until 3:00pm Wednesday & Thursday
Supervision ends on Friday when the kids return from Stingray City

Throughout the 6-day 'Jr. Open Water' course, you'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment assembly and diving techniques. You earn your open water certification rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water ocean dives. You will learn all the basics of scuba diving including equipment set up, safety guidelines, safe diving practices and have fun in the ocean visiting all the cool fish that want to hang out with you. You will hover motionless in the ocean and have a front row seat to the underwater entertainment that will delight you! Your certification card is good for life, and you can go diving with your parents as a lifelong experience. Kids under 12 are certified to dive to 40 feet; kids 12 and over are certified to 60 feet. You'll be diving from shore daily at our 2 shore diving shops plus a boat dive to a shipwreck, a boat trip with your parents and a boat dive to Stingray City on Friday, beautiful shallow reefs, sponges and marine critters await you!

Junior Open Water includes:

E-learning JOW course, Log books, rental gear and certification fees
ERDP (Electronic Recreational dive planner) and a dive computer to use
8 ocean dives!
Photo dive, boat dive, wreck dive, scooter dive and buoyancy dives!

The 'Adventure/Advanced Open Water' divers will be diving pristine and beautiful Sea Fan Reef (house reef at Cobalt Coast Dive Resort) and Lighthouse Point on dive sites filled with marine life, corals, sponges and lots and lots of fish. Kids already certified can earn a new certification card during this fun filled series of dives. The dives will include Buoyancy, Navigation, Photography, Scooter, Deep (12 and over) and Fish ID (under 12), and boat dives to a reef and shipwreck! Everyone will finish off the week with a 12 foot dive in the crystal clear waters of our natural aquarium at Stingray City to see the Southern Rays, Green Moray Eels and lots of schools of reef fish. After dark you can go on a night dive or snorkel to see the night time critters. Plus, you'll meet a lot of other cool teens that share the job of the underwater world!

Digital Photography & Scooter Diver Specialties (age 12 & up)
7:30am until 3:00pm each day
Supervision ends on Friday when the kids return from Stingray City

The Digital Photo & Scooter teens will be diving pristine and beautiful Sea Fan Reef (house reef at Cobalt Coast Dive Resort) and Lighthouse Point on dive sites filled with marine life, corals, sponges and lots and lots of fish. You can earn 2 new certification cards during this fun filled series of dives. You'll begin with a buoyancy dive to get ready and then you'll be let loose on the scooters to cruise your way around the reefs! After a short lesson with your new camera you complete a series of dives and have a chance to edit your photos on our MAC computers with iLife software and post your work on the internet for all your friends and family to see. You'll also go out on the dive boats to visit a reef and a shipwreck! Everyone will finish off the week with a 12 foot dive in the crystal clear waters of our natural aquarium at Stingray City to see the Southern Rays, Green Moray Eels and lots of schools of reef fish. After dark you can go on a night dive or snorkel to see the night time critters. Plus, you'll meet a lot of other cool teens that share the job of the underwater world!
