Kids Sea Camp Celebrates 9 Years of Success in 2009

Coming home to Curaçao is a big deal this June 27-July 4th. Families from around America and the world will come back to Curaçao to enjoy a week of diving, dolphins, painting, snorkeling, beautiful beaches and so much more. Kids Sea Camp is for families with kids age 4-15. Come enjoy the brand new four-star Kontiki Village Beach & Resort located on beautiful Cabana Beach. One- and 2-bedroom thatched-roof villas overlooking saltwater pools, each with its own private balcony, spa, restaurants, diving and, yes, dolphins too.

Ocean Encounters, a PADI Five-star dive operation will host this year's Curacao Kids Sea Camp. Ocean Encounters has a fleet of seven custom dive boats and five dive locations. The dive shop is located onsite at Kontiki beach. Kids will have the opportunity to become certified divers, kids aged 10 and up who are already certified will enjoy some incredible diving as sites such as Newport, Small Wall, the Tugboat and Sandy's Plateau, to name a few. Specialties and courses available to kids and adults are: Advanced Open Water, boat diver, peak performance buoyancy and others.

The adult divers will enjoy some of the best diving Curaçao has to offer, includilng 2 boat dives daily and 1 night dive along with family day diving and an incredible underwater graduation for our newly certified adults and kids. That's right, adults too. Come get certified with your kids in Curaçao this year. For those parents who feel their kids have surpassed them with certifications, take an Advanced Open Water course, a nitrox course, or one of many other courses available to adults this year in Curaçao at Kids Sea Camp.

Families will enjoy a pasta night, beach barbaque with a bonfire, fireworks and a trip to the ostrich farm. Seal Team kids and SASY kids will enjoy fun days learning to dive and snorkel, and time at the beach. They'll also visit the Curaçao Sea Aquarium, get sea lion kisses and have a dolphin encounter. Teens will enjoy a week of great diving, including a dolphin encounter.

Our guest artist and Scuba diving hall of famer! Ron will paint with the kids to turn out a beautiful piece of marine art that will be enjoyed for years to come.
